To Whom It May Concern: I am interested in tutoring in math and biology. I am currently a Junior at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, majoring in Business with an emphasis in accounting. I have tutored in various subjects throughout high school and college and I love the feeling I get when what I am teaching my students finally clicks. I am interested in this position because I have worked with students throughout high school and college. In high school I tutored various students in the subjects of Pre- Algebra, Algebra, and Geometry. In college I tutor accounting once a week at the student success center. I also teach at risk first graders in math, reading and writing during the summer. I love the challenge tutoring gives me. After many years of tutoring I have realized that each individual learns in different ways, and it is up to me as a tutor to change my strategies to fit their needs. The feeling I get when my student succeeds and is able to feel confident in themselves is an irreplaceable feeling. I passed AP Biology, World History, and Calculus
