I have had various odd tutoring jobs starting in my junior year of high school, helping classmates and relatives with various math subjects, such as algebra and calculus. I have currently finished the calculus series (Calculus I-IV) as well as Linear Algebra I here at Cal Poly. I took AP Calculus in high school and earned a 5 on the exam. My SAT scores were 2030 (composite) and 2090 (by best of each subject), and my ACT score was a 32. I am interested in tutoring because I can effectively communicate abstract mathematical concepts with ease and my ultimate career goal is in university research and education.
